Get to Know Us
The mission of the Sullivan University Physician Assistant program is to educate future Physician Assistants to provide ethical, quality, and compassionate healthcare as part of an interprofessional team. This includes increasing access to healthcare in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the nation.
Family Community Clinic
The Family Community Clinic is a non-profit, free clinic that is registered as a Charitable Health Provider in Kentucky. Services are provided by volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other health professionals in the community. This organization works to ensure access to appropriate medical care by covering the cost of labs, imaging, treatment and medications for the medically uninsured in the Louisville Metro and surrounding areas.
The Sullivan University Physician Assistant Program, Class of 2024 is committed to serving diverse communities by raising awareness for this amazing organization and will be donating a portion of the night’s proceeds directly to The Family Community Clinic, which serves the Louisville community we love.

Kristina Grabova
Physician Assistant Student, CO2024
Sullivan University Physician Assistant Program
Kristina Grabova is a Class of 2024 student in the Sullivan University Physician Assistant Program. She earned a BA in Political Science and BA in International Studies at the University of Kentucky. Kristina is an immigrant from Ukraine and seeks to be a patient care advocate, creating better understanding between patient and healthcare professionals. She has interest in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine.
Erin Chalmers, DMSc, PA-C
Director of Didactic Education
Sullivan University Physician Assistant Program
Erin Chalmers is a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program. She completed her Doctorate of Medical Science at the University of Lynchburg in 2020. Erin joined the Sullivan University Physician Assistant Program in 2015 and holds the title of Director of Didactic Education, Associate Professor, and PA Residency Coordinator. Erin loves to be involved in the growth and development of learners from students to providers.
Ellen Wells, BSN, RN
Executive Director
Family Community Clinic
Ellen Wells is an innovative health care leader holding a BSN degree in Nursing and Masters'​ degrees in Business Administration and Education. Ellen joined the Family Community Clinic in July 2019 where she serves as the Executive Director. She brings over 30 years of leadership experience in CNO/COO/CEO roles in the academic and medical fields.
